Happy Halloween!

Well it's finally come and gone. Landon has been waiting for Halloween forever! Because now his birthday can come. :) He tells us every day that tomorrow will be his birthday. (It's not till Nov. 30th). This past week we went to my parents ward they had a Trunk or Treat. For those of you not aware of this, it's a cute idea you meet in the parking lot at the church and open the trunks, their ward decorates the trunks! We decorated ours to looks like a mouth with razor sharp teeth. (It's in the background of a picture of our Darth Vader). And the kids trunk or treat to each car. It's a lot of fun. Then our ward had a Fall Festival with a lot of games to play for candy. I have to say this was their best one yet! Great job to the young men and young women of our ward. We carved pumpkins a bat (by Jimmy) and a spider (by me). Then finally tonight was Halloween. Landon kept thinking that Halloween was over a week ago. Both kids were willing to keep putting on their costumes. They did really well all 3 nights keeping their costumes on, not eating too much candy, and just being good. :) I sure do love these kids. They bring so much joy in our lives. Emma loved being a bunny she kept hopping around saying "Boing, Boing, Boing!" And Jimmy had the Darth Vader theme song downloaded on his cell phone and would play it as we walked up to the doors tonight. We just trick or treated a few homes in our neighborhood and mom and dad's neighborhood. It was a great night. I hope everyone else had a great Halloween as well!
Also a side note the pictures at the bottom of this post was from the morning of Landon's first Primary Program. Landon is a very active 3 year old (believe me we've all had our concerns at times) and he was no different during the program. He brought a lot of smiles to the people in the congregation when he took off his jacket and was swinging above his head. I heard a few giggles when he and two other boys were jockying for positions up at the stand during the last two songs. I actually had to go and sit on the front row to get the boys to settle down. Luckily one of the other three boys was a little more rowdy than Landon. We appreciated the distraction from all eyes on our boy. :) Over all for being their first primary program and they are not quite 4 years old I'd give them a -B for an over all grade. Landon got up to the pulpit to say his part. He couldn't remember it initially the sister sitting there started to help him and he turned around and loudly said "I can do it myself", and then turned and did it all by himself. What a kid.
Thank you Landon and Emma for just being ours. We couldn't be luckier parents of such cute kids.
